Carl Vinson Institute and Center for Effective Public Policy Engages Board in Training

The State Board of Pardons and Paroles is a continuous learning organization. The agency's leadership staff and five parole board members engaged in training sessions provided by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. "The Carl Vinson Institute is a leader in providing advanced training to agencies and organizations and their employees providing opportunities to enhance operations and ensure effective and efficient processes," said Chris Barnett, Executive Director of Parole. Each year, thousands of government officials, administrators and agency staff enroll take part in training provided by the Institute of Government. The Georgia Parole Board also engages other organizations for training including the Center for Effective Public Policy.
