Convoy of Care: Hurricane Helene Aid
The Convoy of Care was strong as people across Georgia came together to donate to those impacted by Hurricane Helene. The Georgia Parole Board partnered with Caring for Others, the Georgia Motor Trucking Association, WSB-TV, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, and other law enforcement agencies as parole staff volunteered at donation sites. Parole staff were present in Henry County and Coweta County to help ensure that donated goods reached those in need.
