January 2024 Board Meeting
The Georgia Parole Board's monthly meeting was held Tuesday, January 9th, during which new Board Member, Joyette Holmes, was sworn in. Chairman Terry Barnard administered the oath. Ms. Holmes is an attorney. She started her career as a defense attorney and previously served as the Cobb County District Attorney.
“I am grateful as well to the Governor for the appointment, grateful for him believing me to be a good addition to this board and to this team that does so much work across the state,” stated Holmes during the board meeting.
