2023 Georgia Commission on Family Violence Conference

The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) 2023 Conference was held at Jekyll Island in September this year. Georgia Parole Board Member Jacqueline Bunn attended, along with Executive Director Chris Barnett and staff from Clemency, Field Services, and Victim Services. Bunn is a member of the GCFV.

“This year’s conference broke all attendance records with more than 700 attendees across multiple disciplines. The event brought together some of the brightest minds in the state and nation to take a hard look at the issue of domestic violence, with the goal of eradicating it. As a member of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence and as Chair of the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Fund, I'm proud of the effort that went into facilitating the event. We are moving the needle and have made gains toward ending the unnecessary, senseless, and damaging effects of family violence. We must continue the progress and continue to work hard to eliminate the suffering that results from family violence," stated Bunn.
