Georgia Department of Corrections Metro Reentry Facility Program Graduation

The first program graduation at the Metro Reentry Facility was in July. The facility is operated by the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). Executive Director of Parole Chris Barnett spoke to the graduates. The facility utilizes evidence-based practices and community collaboration to address barriers offenders face in order to successfully return to society. The program prepares offenders eligible for parole or close to being released at the end of their prison sentence.
